The Kerinci Seblat National Park has 1.5 million hectares of dense tropical jungle, house of many diverse species of flora and fauna. It can be reached from 4 gateways; Padang, Jambi, Bengkulu and Palembang in South Sumatra.

Etnic of society of the Kerinci National Park are Minangkabau clan, Kerinci clan, Rejang clan. Java and Sunda clan as well.
